I applied RD to the Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame. ND is my dream school, so I was hoping I could get a sense for how an admissions officer will view my application. Although I would love to hear good news, I would appreciate honesty more than anything in your responses.

Facilitator for diversity club (educate and facilitate conversations in the community about important social issues)

Recommendations:
All good - both of my teachers that wrote one have a good understanding of who I am. One teacher I have had for two years and the other was my teacher and soccer coach.
My counselor rec was better than most I’d say. I made an emphasis to build a relationship with her.
Also getting an additional letter from the director of Best Buddies from my state
Essays:
Why Notre Dame: I really liked this one. Talked about how the tradition at Notre Dame forms a strong community while tying it into my own life.
Field Trip: I enjoyed writing this one. Wrote about Thoreau, his emphasis on a connection with nature, and how my trip would help re-connect students with nature.
Conversation: Wrote about how I met with someone who was a great leader. Explained how I applied some advice that I received from the meeting.
