Okay. So I started badly and made a couple of C's and failed one class while I was a business major. My GPA dipped to around 2.6. Now I'm a pre-dentistry major, possibly going into pharmacy, I haven't quite decided between the two yet, but I am making A's and B's in the science classes. I'd like to know if graduate schools would tend to accept a student who did very poorly in another major that brought down their overall GPA, but excelled in the core science classes required for a pre-Pharmacy/Dentistry student. An example would be a 3.5 GPA in the core science requirements, and an overall 3.0 GPA.

Note: If I decide on Pharmacy, I'd be applying to in-state schools, one of which I currently attend for undergrad and has a Pharmacy school.
