You have a pretty good shot at all the schools you listed, but one thing that stands out among your stats is that you don't seem to be passionate about one thing, mainly just listing a number of EC's. You want and try to let college admission officers know that there is something you particular excel at/are talented in or that you have a passion for.

Shwincity, you said I just list EC's. However, they aren't random like Science, Social Studies, and just random.

They are all either leadership, or business related.

Leadership-Class of 2009, SGA, Key Club, NHS

Business-Debate (Public Speaking), Mu Alpha Theta (Needed for Finance), Business Professionals of America.

and the rest are varsity sports. thanks for your input though.

bumpppppppppppppppp

amazing stats, great shot everywhere.

You have good grades, but the SAT is a LITTLE low compared to others. Your EC's are really nice, with clear dedication in all of them. But how do you manage to play Varsity Tennis, Soccer, and Softball? Shouldn't these conflict with each other?

Anyways, I'd say you have decent chances.

tjan91, thanks you.

Equilibrium, I manage to play them all because soccer season is like October-Beginning of December, Softball is from end of dec. - mid February and tennis s beginning of march until end of april. i miss the conditioning for softball and tennis, due to conflicts with the previous sports, but they don't care because the coaches know im playing another sports which is just as good as conditioning.

great shot anywhere, write an amzing essay and good luck :)

haha yeah the problem may come there. i can't seem to think of a topic for my essay.

any other input? Can someone else do a reach/match/safety kind of thing?

You show TONS of leadership, which is very good... so if your going into something like politics, you'll do well. However...since you don't have any huge awards (such as state or national wins), anything else I think you'll have some trouble. Assuming your going to something requiring leadership I'd go:

Wharton: Reach
Duke: Match
Northwestern: Match
Yale: Reach
Carnegie Mellon: Low Reach
UCLA: Low Match
Emory: Match
Michigan-Ross: Low Match
Cornell: Reach
Brown: High Match

cgar, i don't want to major in politics, i was thinking more of like economics, finance, or international business. i dont know yet.

and to direct the awards situation, ive placed 6th in Debate Varsity States for congress, but i don't know if that would look impressive, placing sixth. so idk. lol. are there any national level awards that don't pertain to any clubs, that i can win?
