What are my chances at UMD Honors College

I am a junior in a magnet program in Maryland, my stats are as follows

GPA - 3.70
SAT - 2240 ( 700 CR, 770 Math, 770 Writing)
WGPA - 4.40 as of right now, should go up
ACT - 35

SAT Math 2 - 800
SAT Chemistry - 800

In addition, by the beginning of senior year I will be registered in or have taken 12 AP courses.
I also have a number of curricular activities like instruments and clubs, and will be holding an internship at NIH this summer.

Firstly, what are my chances at making UMD Honors College?
And second, do I have a good shot at the Banneker-Key Scholarship.

Also, forgot to add I have about 500 volunteer hours

As a fellow MD magnet program student (Senior though) I’d say you have a pretty good chance of getting into the Honors College. The chances would be better if you keep your grades up this year since trending up is always helpful. you have a good shot at partial scholarships and maybe the full scholarship. Work hard on your grades, you internship and your essays and you have a pretty good chance. Don’t make it seem like you view them as a safety school.
