I recently submitted my application to the University of South Carolina and was wondering how likely I am to get in. I have a 3.16 GPA and a 1160 SAT. I am applying to be an Elementary Education major. Thanks

My daughter got in out of state. She had a 33 ACT and a 4.2 weighted GPA, but is one of the top scholarship students at UofSC… You should be fine to get in. 40% of students are out of state, but mostly kids from GA, FL, NC, and Maryland for some reason.

My son is a Freshman and there are plenty of students with your statistics. OOS students make up 43% of the student body. Good luck.
