What are my chances at Washu in St. Louis?

Hi!
I’m interested in Biology/Biomedical engineering and my top choice right now is WashU. I have visited and did an interview with an admissions counselor, and I’m going to apply to some scholarships.
Here are my stats:

34 ACT (36 English, science, reading, 29 math)
AP Human Geography: 5
AP Euro: 4
AP Chemistry: 3
Class rank: 12/435
IB diploma candidate, will have taken 4 AP, 9 honors, and 12 IB classes, with two sciences each year from 10th grade
GPA: 4.0 UW, 4.75 W
National merit semi-finalist

EC:

  • 4 yrs tutoring
  • Global issues network 10 and 11 and president 11
  • French honors society 10, 11, and 12
  • science olympiad 10, 11, and 12, placed in every event competed in
  • history symposium 12- leading construction
  • SCUBA diving 11 and 12
  • I also spend a lot of time cooking for my family since my parents are divorced and my mom works a lot

I’m planning on applying early decision to WashU, but I’m also interested in Tulane, Pomona, and Rochester

Low reach-the GPA is good. ACT is in range although the math score is kind of low. The 3 in AP Chem could be a concern if you plan to send all scores.

Are you currently taking Biology and Calculus?

Tulane is a match. Rochester would be a low match. Pomona is a reach-their acceptance rate is lower than WashU.

Thanks for the response! I’m in IB biology and IB mathematics which at my school is the same class as calculus
