What are my chances, Boston College?! Help! (nervous due to low SAT)

Hi! I know decisions come out basically tomorrow but I could use some help evaluating my chances so I can be realistic about the chances I have of getting denied. I just don’t want to get my hopes up, thank you!

SAT: 1390 (I recognize this isn’t traditionally low, but it is low in relation to what Bostons range is)

GPA: 3.95 (UW) 4.07 (W on 4.3 scale)

AP’s: Biology, Psychology, Art

Course load: all honors (except English) I go to a private/Catholic school so I don’t get many opportunities for electives/AP’s… I’m hoping colleges will recognize this

EC’s: Founder and Editor of School Newspaper (started it my sophomore year), Math Honors Society, National Honors Society, Writing Honors Society, President of Spanish Honors Society and Spanish club, Violin, Varsity diver (districts qualifier), Some service (nothing specific)

Essays: Personal is on how reading has helped me get through my mother’s illness when I was young (& how it continuously helps me) Supplementals are on how I started my school’s newspaper.

Your SAT is basically at the average for students enrolled in the class of 2022. The average for students enrolled in the class of 2022 is 1392. The middle 50 percentiles for enrolled students for 2022 is 1340-1480.

The average for Class of 2022 admitted students is 1448 (1453 for admitted EA 2022, if I recall correctly). (As is typical, the admitted numbers are higher than enrolled.)

Evergreen, Excuse me for splitting hairs but for class of 2022, the average admitted SAT was 1448- Average enrolled is 1420. Average Admitted ACT was 33, while the average enrolled was 32.

@bbfan1927 BC reported 1392 https://www.bc.edu/bc-web/bcnews/campus-community/announcements/mahoney.html Where did you see 1420?
