What are my chances BU ED I?

SAT (new): 1540 (800 math 740 reading)
ACT: 34 (36 science, 35 math, 33 reading)
GPA: 3.42 (this is what I’m worried about mainly, due to several mistakes sophomore year. upward trend junior year)

Curriculum: most difficult possible, all honors/AP since freshman year
Senior course load: AP gov, AP psych, AP Chem II, AP calc bc, honors French (no AP offered), AP english 12, electives: community service, health, gifted seminar

Essay: excellent as far as I, my english teacher, and my college counselor can tell
Recommendations: haven’t read but supposedly great

ECs: Tons, including varsity swimming, drama club, reading olympics, cultural heritage club, french club, DECA, debate, etc

Why BU: about my passion for the school and how much it felt like home due to the excellent academics and culture

I’m pretty sure you’re going to get in. With SAT and ACT scores like that, something would have to be pretty wrong for them not to take you. I hope you get in!

what is your major/focus that you intend to pursue at BU? Many, many pre-med and sciences there, so the competition in those things is MUCH higher.\ than other topic areas. Your GPA, as you know, a little low, but upward trend is very good thing.
