Thanks again for reviewing my Chance thread! If you have any questions feel free to post and Ill get back to you as soon as possible!

Everything looks pretty good - but I think you would really benefit by working hard this summer to bring up that CR score. Take SAT 1 more time in Fall…Good Luck, you are doing great!

Thanks! Since I have an 800 math SAT 1 score and a sub par 620 CR, would colleges prefer to see my SAT score over ,say, a 34 ACT math and a 30 ACT writing/CR?

chance back!!!

okay, so if you get above a 2200 and apply ED, you’re a shoe-in for duke. i live right next to the campus, and i’ve seen a lot of people get in pretty easily. the average at my school is 3.8 gpa and exactly a 2040 sat for acceptance, and many have gotten accepted with stats much lower, like one with a 1680, and 3.7 gpa, i’m not even kidding. so don’t worry about it too much, i’m sure you’ll be fine. duke is by far the easiest top 10 school to get in to.

That is a load of help. Thank you both for replying so quickly! I really couldn’t see myself anywhere else other than Duke!
