what are my chances for Columbia Early Decision?

<p>GPA: 4.3 ranked #1 of 425 in a suburban highschool. Not a bad school but not exceptional.</p>

<p>SAT: 2300 (800 Math, 750 CR, 750 Writing)</p>

<p>770 on Math II
770 on Physics</p>

<p>EC:</p>

<p>-4 years cross country varsity
-4 years spring track varsity
-4 years school newspaper and senior yr editor in chief
-4 years latin club
-3 years national honor society- president senior year
- 2 years peer tutor for APLUS program started by vice-principal
<em>started a club/charity organization in junior year. ever since have been acting as president. Organizes annual texas hold em charity events for the school. Over 100 people attended each and has raised over 2,000 dollars per event. In addition to this have spent over 200 hours of community service planning and executing event</em> (is this a good ec?)</p>

<p>Hobbies:
- Have been taking weekly piano lessons for 12 years
- Summer job as a lifeguard at a camp that I have been attending for 10 years</p>

<p>What are my odds if I apply for Columiba Early decision? I have fallen in love with the school since I visited it.</p>

<p>Get on the Columbia ED thread from this year and decide for yourself. You have very solid accomplishments, but so did a bunch of people who were rejected.</p>

<p>I think you have good chances. Stats are really good, rank is great and so is SAT and SAT2s.
Good ECs as well. I would say you definitely have good chances.
