Please read

I have always wanted Pratt, BME. I've taken engineering courses every year at my high school, and they are very hands-on. We design and build race cars, program milling sequences, etc. However, the only research experience I have is from a week long program in biological research at the University of Rochester. Besides this, I am planning another week-long shadow/assistant-ing from a BME phD at the U of R, but that will be in February. Will this lack of hands-on experience hurt my chances of getting into Pratt? If that's the case, should I just try for Trinity?

Any and all advice/comments/feedback is appreciated.

Thank you!
