What are my chances for getting my life back on track?

Hey guys

I go to the University of Toronto for Engineering, I totally dislike 1st year. People tell me it gets better after next year because we actually see courses relevant to our major (Operations Research/Human Factors/Info Eng), right now we're taking disgusting courses like Structures, Material Science, Physics. I don't mind the Math, but tests and exams are ghastly because of the school's academic policy.

I really want to get out of this program, and study Commerce/Business. My marks, are atrocious -- well my GPA. It's above 1.5 but under 2.0; so I don't see myself going anywhere spectacular. However, in my relevant courses e.g non-technical courses I'm somewhat better, but not that much. (Calc I: 70, Communication: 70, Algebra: 65, Communication II: 70ish, Calc II: mid-low 60, Programming mid-high 70).

I really want to study Commerce, I had an 87 average in High School. I had a 76 in English, so I wasn't eligible to be admitted into UofT Commerce. I brought that mark up to an 80 year's end, alongside with a consistent 90 in Calculus. But it was to no avail. I was also fear-mongered into pursuing the Science route, so I wasn't able to focus on English at all.

I know, that there is basically no chance for me to study in any Canadian university now. Do I have hope for places outside of Canada? What do I do? My last exam is tomorrow, and I will be resigning after that.

How about going to a community college like Seneca or George Brown for a business program. Make sure the credits are transferable back to university ?

Are you at St George Campus ?
