What are my chances for Princeton/Brown? What about Davidson/BC/Duke?

Hey guys,

I’m curious about my chances for Princeton or Brown, as well as Davidson, Boston College, and Duke.

I’m a rising senior and I have a 4.41 weighted/4.04 unweighted GPA. I’ve taken all honors classes for my core and language classes freshman-sophomore year. My junior year, I took two AP classes, and the rest honors. My senior year, I’m taking four AP classes and one regular class. So, a total of 6 AP, 12 honors, and 2 regular classes throughout my four years in high school. My weighted GPA shows an upward trend since freshman year.

As far as extracurriculars, I have been on student government for four years, as liaison (freshman year), and class president (sophomore, junior, senior years). I have run varsity cross country and track all three seasons for four years (doing well at state competitions and running in some national competitions), and I have been a captain of the cross country team for three years. I have been a member of Peers Against Narcotics and Drug Abuse for all four years, and I am a leader of this club my senior year. I am a mentor for a middle school student in the Little Big program (3 years). I have been a member of Future Business Leaders of America for four years and placed at states and qualified for/attended the national competition every year. I am a member of NHS and I have been a member of Leadership Corp (a club at my school where you assist underclassmen in teambuilding) since junior year.

I have taken the ACT and SAT once. I got a 34 on my ACT (36 English, 28 Math, 34 Reading, 36 Science, 11/12 essay) and a 1510 on my SAT (720 Math, 790 Reading).

What are my chances for getting into extremely competitive schools like Princeton, Brown, or Duke? I am a double-legacy at Princeton, as both my parents went to college there. How about for smaller liberal arts schools like Davidson College or Boston College?

I intend to major in political science, public policy, international relations, or psychology.

Thank you!
