Oh yeah one last kicker : Legacy for UGA, because my sister is graduating in 2007...lol hopefully that'll help somehow

University of Georgia (Athens)--Match to Slight Reach
Emory--Reach
Georgia Tech--Slight Reach
Georgia State--Match

I'd try hard for Georgia. It's a really good school (and beautiful) in a really fun town. Your SATs are good, but you need work on your grades (probably kind of late for that, though). Normally, they don't count legacies--but I'd tell them that your sister is already there and about to graduate (can't hurt). Express how happy she is at the school and how that has peaked your interest.

Good luck.

You'll definitely make it at Georgia State, and I heard a lot of kids with similar stats make Tech last year so I think that is probably 50/50. I think UGA is going to be a reach, hopefully the little things can put you over the top because the GPA isn't going to impress them. I think Emory is definitely out of the question, but it doesn't hurt to apply if you want to go there.

You won’t even apply to Emory because you’re too poor, but you’ll get into the rest.

You’ll go to GT and almost fail out because you’re too lazy.
