I'm currently a junior in high school and I've been looking into mostly small liberal arts schools. Unfortunately, most of them seem really selective. Vassar, Tufts, Amherst, Wesleyan, and Reed are at the top of my list, and I also like Bard, Dickinson, Goucher, Colgate, and Whitman (I know those are a little bit less selective). What are my chances of getting in? I want to know whether I should still pursue these schools or if I should set my sights a little lower (and if so, could you recommend where to start?). Here's kind of a quasi-resume.

GPA: 3.89 unweighted, 4.28 weighted

Class rank: 44 out of about 550 (top 10%)

AP classes taken so far: European History (got a 5)

Current classes: AP English Language, APUSH, AP Chemistry, Journalism, Spanish 3, Trigonometry

Extracurriculars: School newspaper- staff member grades 9 and 10, design editor grade 11. Arts Academy- grades 9-11 (my school has a performing arts program and I participate in both theatre and music). Classically trained singer- grades 9-11. Participated in eight school productions for both music and theatre. Volunteer work with an animal rescue group and a womens' shelter- grades 9-11. Participated in an academic summer program at Boston University- July-August 2012. Member of California Scholarship Federation for two semesters so far- I intend on being a member for the maximum amount, 6. Member of award-winning school chamber choir, grades 9 and 11.

That's all I can think to put...so what are my chances? Also, I'm thinking about going into psychology, if that makes a difference.
