What are my chances for UC Berkeley and UCLA

<p>Weighted GPA: 4.05
Unweighted GPA: 3.6
SAT: 2270- reading 800, math 780, writing 690
ACT: 34- math 34 English 35 reading 33 science 34</p>

<p>I know my GPA is well below the average but is it possible my scores can balance that out enough? I explained in my essay how I started a new school suddenly in the middle of a semester my junior year and kind of plummeted.</p>

<p>decent extracurriculars: lots of service, internship in a Senator's office, internship in Cal EPA</p>

<p>both are reaches, because of your gpa (which is one of their top considerations, ahead of the SAT). Definitely apply to some matches (if you’re doing engineering, purdue and Georgia Tech might be a good choice), privates perhaps. Good luck!</p>
