What are my chances for UCF, FSU, and USF for both summer and/or fall term?

Good evening! I am currently a junior. My top three colleges I want to go to (in order) are

  1. UCF
  2. FSU
  3. USF
I want to know my chances at these schools for either summer or fall. Here are my stats:
    Major: Undecided as of now
GPA: 3.5 UW (Hoping to get to a 3.6 by the end of this semester) , 4.35 W (Hoping to get to a 4.4 )
Core GPA : I have no idea how to calculate this, so I’m guessing maybe a 3.7-3.8 range. I’m not sure.
Classes: By then end of senior year I’ll have 7 AP’s, 11 honors, 1 Dual enrollment (cc class)
SAT: 1130/1600 (CR: 620, 510 M. My first test, taking another one for a better score soon.)
ACT: 24C ( 30 R, 25 E, 19 M, 23 SC) Sucks, I know but also my first test. I’ve bought multiple test prep books and I am studying so that hopefully my score will increase for the next ACT, which is the test I prefer.
I’m in a competitive magnet school, I’m currently in the top 11% but I’m working my way up to top 10% of my class.

    Chances?

Right now I think your chances are middling for FSU and UCF, not great for UF. I think you want to focus on bringing up the math portion of your standardized test scores. (30 in Reading on ACT is great! Also FSU superscores) The good news is that the math portion is the easiest to improve on, generally.

I think if you bring those scores up a bit you’d be great for FSU/UCF, and would have a shot at UF.

Don’t forget to write a great essay.

Good luck!

Also guys, which is spring term a thing?

Use the 2016 SUS Admissions Tour MATRIX, which can be found at the following link:

http://www.flbog.edu/board/office/asa/admissionstour.php

It gives the middle 50% range for test scores and GPA, for Fall and Summer B enrollment (it’s often lower for Summer B), for each of the 12 Florida public universities.

I predict you will get into all 3.

Keep plugging away at your classes to get from top 11% to top 10% and keep studying for the Math SAT/ACT.
If you are putting in the time, you can most likely raise it.

I think you’ll be good.
