What are my chances for UNC Chapel Hill (OOS)? Please Help!

I am interested in applying to UNC Chapel Hill. I am from the Silicon Valley, and attend one of the most competitive schools in the state/nation. That being said, the high academic standards have made it very difficult for me to maintain the perfect grades. I am aware that the OOS acceptance rate for Chapel Hill is low, but I want to see how I fare.

GPA: 3.8 (UW)
ACT: 32
ECs (at school): VP of United Nations Club; Founder of MUN; organize annual book drive to send books to schools in Africa; Writing Tutor; Orchestra/String Bass; Editor for Gold Crown winning yearbook
ECs (outside of school): Interned at a UC; Currently working at educational start up where I am helping develop a new study guide format; Piano for 10+ years/performance level
Race: Asian

My school does not offer AP aside from math for 9th/10th graders.
11th Grade: APUSH; AP Psych (self-study); AP Comparative Government (self-study)
12th grade (2014-2015) : AP Literature and Composition; AP US Gov; AP Microeconomics; AP Statistics; AP Macroeconomics (self-study)

Major: Global studies or Peace, war, and defense; maybe minoring in Middle Eastern studies

And also, could anyone suggest any schools that are similar in caliber to UNC Chapel Hill? Preferably in a big city!

Your chances are very good. I think that you will be accepted, but I am not clear on why it is that you would like to leave where you are. You do realize that once you get your degree, after your first job no one is going to care what your grades are/were. Why on earth would you like to switch schools because you don’t have perfect grades…WHO CARES! If it is your parents that are pushing your grades, sit them down and have a chat with them.
College is not ONLY for perfect grades…
Stay where you are. You have great grades there! You will be a success any place you plan to go.

match/almost safety

^ UNC is NEVER a safety for OOS.

UNC does an holist view of the application. You do not need a perfect GPA. You have a good background. Just make sure to write well written essays.

UNC-CH: Reach (may as well apply to Duke)
