USC is my first choice and I was wondering how I stacked up compared to other junior transfer students.

What are my chances with the following resume?:

Desired Major: International Relations/International Relations and Global Marketing

SAT-
1440

GPA: 3.67

School: Saddleback Community College

Units: Transferring with 60 units

All the core USC classes completed with
-Math 10 Statistics In Progress
-English 44 Classical Mythology IP
-CA 30 History of Film IP
-Deans list Fall Semester

Extra Curriculars:
-Eagle Scout
-Alpha Gamma Sigma Honor Society
-Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society
-Associated Student Government Executive Cabinet member
-National Young Leaders Conference Participant
-1000 plus hours of community service
-Ritz Carlton Hotel Front Desk Agent from 10/07-Present
-Studied abroad in Lausanne, Switzerland and Athens, Greece for 1 year
-Sunday school teacher for 3 year olds

You’re definitely in good standing in terms of gpa/units/ec’s. I’m sure as long as your application describes all your experiences that you’ve listed in an engaging way, they will appreciate your drive as a student. Your stats look great! You have nothing to worry about, all you have to do is sit back and wait =) Good luck!

As long as that 1440 is just for the SAT CR + Math and doesn’t include your SAT writing score, then your chances are really good. The average transfer admit is about a 3.57–and since the admits at the film school and at the business school have higher averages than this, then you should be okay.

i’d say you have a fairly good chance. your extra curics are envious!
hope you get in, i went to the campus yesterday and it’s so nice super hot though, i was like sweating.
