What are my chances for UVA, UMICH school of kines, Wisconsin, Duke, Unc, Texas Buisness, Penn state

have 3.6 GPA unweighted in a very good public high school in Connecticut. Weighted it is probably about 3.8. I got a
31 on my ACT. I also have a very high interest in sports and athletics. I got a 3.24 freshman year. Then a 3.52 sophmore and a 4.0 junior year. I have take 4 honors classes.

My extra curricular activities consist of

Tennis (high school, captain, 2 time state and division champs, usta tournaments (made it to 60 in new england), usta team tennis)

Buddy tennis which is helping disabled children to learn a sport and mostly have a good time

A couple of runs for diseases such as cancer, leukemia, athsma, etc.

Counselor in training at Nike Tennis camps
5.President of Korea club south (just a random club for fun)

I have a sports blog on facebook and a sports instagram page with over 3500 followers

40 hours of community service in africa

Helped renovate an old history site in my town
9 Book Club

Worked part time at my racket club

Recieved the english award for my grade

Creator of foursquare club in my school

I still have a whole year to add onto this list with many other athletic related things and academic things.

UVA, UMich, Duke, and UNC are all reaches oos because of your minimal amount of honors classes and average gpa. UT Austin is a low reach, Penn State is a match, and Wisconsin is a high match. Try to add more safeties.

agree with the post above. You should add UConn or Rutgers. your list are all large school,(except for Duke) sounds like you want large? add Indiana and MSU.

Umich school of kines is the easiest I hear to get into at Michigan.

Also its for sports marketing and athletics and i think i have shown pretty clear commitment to athletics.

@tronneutron‌ Yes i want large but i feel like i can do better then indiana and msu. For safeties i was thinking like university of florida and south carolina and maybe clemson

IU Kelley business school is one of the best. check bloomberg ranking. They do have a sports marketing major but i don’t believe thats part of Kelley. UT is an awesome and diverse campus. Great accounting program. Texas would be a low reach. Florida is a match, Carolina and Clemson I see more a safety. Have you visited any of these schools? I would suggest visiting them. bases on Stats and ranking schools looks great until you step onto the campus. Like an employee asking an employer, “can fit” is very important. I know many kids that have attended top tier schools and they transfer out after their first yr and first semester. Do yourself a favor and visits them.

While there are no minimum requirements for admission, the following represents the middle 50th percentile range for students admitted to the School of Kinesiology at UMich for 2014:

3.7-3.9 GPA
28-31 ACT
1860-2085 SAT

Your GPA is low while your ACT is at 75%. For oos, it should be a high match to low reach for you.
