What are my chances? Graduate in 3 or 3.5 years?

I go to Fordham University. My plan is to graduate in 3 years. If I were to graduate in three years I would have a 3.83 G.P.A and I got 175 on the LSAT. I also have the option to graduate in 3.5 years and possibly raise my G.P.A to 3.85/3.86. I have not necessarily enjoyed college so getting out and saving money would be optimal. However, I want to go to a top law school like Harvard. Would it be better to spend an extra semester to raise my G.P.A or are my chances good now?

I have done community outreach in civics, interned at the Mayor’s office, interned at a Public Affairs firm, interned at the District Attorney’s office, and a law firm in NYC. I am writing my senior thesis (which is not required by Fordham University, but I am doing it to demonstrate to law schools that I can write). I am a political science major.

I want to go straight into law school. I would be 21 entering in (not sure if my age will be an issue) and I am an Asian male.

Any advice would be helpful!

If you already earned a 175 on the LSAT and are sure that you’ll have a 3.83, then a boost to 3.86 wouldn’t really make much difference. You’ll get into some top 10 schools with those numbers and are certainly eligible to get into Harvard, Yale and Stanford. You just need to take a year or two off and work in a job that meets one of your life’s passions.

agree with Happy. If you want out, graduate early, but get a job for a year or two – any job – which will make you a more interesting candidate to all of the T14…
