I'm currently a junior, studying in the Netherlands. I'd like to major in either political science or history and I'm Kurdish.

Stats:
GPA: 9/10 (very high for Dutch standards)
SAT's: I don't know yet, but I've been scoring around 2200 on practice tests.
Class rank: 1-3/116
Classes: I've been doing Gymnasium for the last fiv years, which is as rigorous and prestigious as its gets. I'm taking the maximum amount of classes and my school is one of the best in the Netherlands.
Ec's: They're ok, but could be better: pre-university college at Leiden university (very selective program for 'gifted students'), MUN (student officer and advocate for the ICJ), class president, reference group for the school board (selective), student coucil, school newspaper and 100+ hours of volunteers work and community service.

It's literally a nine out of ten. From what I've heard/read, it would be save to say that an 8/10 is an A in the US. So a 9 could be an A+ or something.

Oh, ok...
I think that you have a pretty decent chance at all of them, but you can never tell. A girl I knew had a 6.0 (w) and a 4.0 (uw) which would probably correspond with a 9/10 or a 10/10 and was pretty much a perfect candidate for the ivy league schools but she got rejected at Princeton and Columbia, but got accepted at Yale and Harvard. So its pretty hard to tell.

But I think you have a pretty decent chance, when you get in your SAT scores we can probably chance you better.

Duygu i am sure you will get into one of those universities that you want !!!
and if i were iny our shoes i would add brown to my list as well :)

Hehehe I really like Brown! The only problem is that Brown has requirements regarding work load and never answered my e-mail asking whether mine is good enough.

My school is the Gymnasium Haganum in The Hague. It's very well respected, used to be in the top three of the country and is most definitely one of the two best schools of the Hague.
