What Are My Chances Of Acceptance?!!?

GPA: 3.1 (unweighted)
ACT: 23
SAT: 1080
Class Rank: 81/364

Extracurriculars: Cross Country, Basketball, and Track and Field

My GPA is not the best due to my heavy struggles in math my freshman and sophomore year, but I finished my junior year with straight A’s and currently have straight A’s for my senior year. If I finish my senior year first and second semesters with all A’s my GPA with raise to a 3.34. In Tennessee we do not practice or take the SAT so that score is the result of me taking it once without practice. I have volunteer experience with children (even disabled children) and the homeless and I have held a job as a Youth Program Assistant. I have been on the varsity cross country and track and field teams for four years and when I ran AAU Track and Field I qualified for the Junior Olympics. I have three or four pending recommendations as well. Though my GPA and test scores do not accurately reflect the kind of student I am and the grades I am capable of earning, I am a very determined and hard working student and I value a quality education. So, can anyone tell me what my chances of being accepted to Drexel University are?

I would think that you could have a tough time getting accepted. While Drexel has a pretty high acceptance rate–60-70%–the majority of those applying have stats that fit within their published profile ranges. As a parent, I would ask why Drexel is a good fit for you? Do they offer a major that you have to study? It feels like you could have a tough time keeping up academically with your peers there. There are many amazing colleges that would be good for your first year or two and then you could always transfer. That being said, why not apply however and see how it turns out? If they accept you, it means that they think you can succeed. Good luck.
