I belong to a prominent political family of Pakistan. My uncle was the ex Prime Minister of Pakistan and both my paternal and maternal grandfathers were important figures of Pakistan History. My family wants me to go to Georgetown, I have no idea if I will get in.

A friend of my uncles took my interview, and sent a recommendation letter to Georgetown as he is an Alumnus.

Please let me know if I have a chance

Your family connections/recommendations will help you a lot and if you can improve your SAT math a little bit you will get in. Your extracurriculars/international experience are big factors for Georgetown.

^As are connections. Georgetown is finicky with admissions, but your chances go up considerably when you have connections. As someone from a prominant political family who knows an alum, I’d say your shot at an EA admit is pretty high.

With your background and international experience, I think Georgetown would be perfect for you, and I’d guess admissions officers would agree. In addition, your scores and academics are good, although I think higher scores could almost ensure your getting in.

Good luck!

Thanks everyone.
Well I am waiting for my decision to come. April 1st…
