???

What is your UW GPA? Colleges will use your unweighted GPA for admissions. Your weighted GPA is significant for your class rank.

my unweighted is a 3.9, as of the end of my sophomore year

wrong subforum, buddy. the what are my chances forum is right here [What Are My Chances? - College Confidential](Chance Me / Match Me! - College Confidential Forums)

With your four Bs, it looks like your UW GPA is more like 3.8. (17 x 4.0= 68; 4 x 3.0 = 12;
68 + 12 = 80 divided by 21 classes= 3.8 . Are you giving yourself extra points for +s?

Anyway, you have decent stats and ECs for Brown. Are you recruitable for baseball by any chance?

BME? I’m unfamiliar with that term. Biomedical Engineering? I can say that for engineering and such, it’s really important that your activities and essays show your passion for that area (more important than for other potential concentrations).

@fauve: While an A+ probably is the same as an A for GPA, a B+ is typically something like a 3.3 rather than a 3.0.
