What are my chances of getting into Columbia?

Hi! I was just wondering what my chances are of getting into Columbia (and if they aren’t good, what I can do to help them). I’m a junior in high school right now, so I still have time to make improvements. Any insight would be appreciated

GPA Unweighted: 3.9

GPA Weighted: About 4.4 (I expect this to go up after additional APs next year)

Honors and AP Classes:
Freshman Year -

  1. Honors English 9
  2. Honors Geometry
  3. Honors World History
  4. Honors Biology

Sophomore Year -

  1. Honors English 10
  2. Honors Algebra II
  3. Honors Chemistry
  4. Honors Ancient World History (half year)
  5. AP United States History (half year)

Junior Year -

  1. Honors Precalculus
  2. Honors Debate and Rhetoric
  3. AP United States History (full year)
  4. AP Physics I
  5. AP English Language and Composition

I have taken the same language (Spanish) all three years, and I plan on taking AP Spanish next year (along with other APs).

SAT Scores:
Math - 700
Verbal - 750
Writing - 800
Total - 2250

I’m planning on taking SAT IIs next month. I’m expecting pretty high scores because they match up with the AP classes I’ve been taking this year.

Thank you for your input!

You’re as qualified as any other applicant. Make sure your essays are strong and your app is error free. ED is certainly the best way to go for you.

ECs are the only thing holding you back. They just don’t stand out or show anything special. With a good essay, you have pretty good chances though
