Not sure if many people here will know what that is, but it’s kind of like a competitive math and science college prep school.
Classes: (rising sophomore)
7th: Algebra 1 Honors
8th: Geometry Honors, Biology 1 Honors, English 1 Honors, Spanish 1
9th: Spanish 2, English 2 Honors, World Geo Honors, Chemistry 1 Honors, Tennis, Algebra 2 Honors, Computer Science 2 AP
10th (next year): Spanish 3 Honors, English 3 AP, World History AP, Chemistry 2 AP, Physics 1 AP, Computer Science 3 Honors, Precalculus Honors
All low A’s except for english 2, English 1 first semester and second semester chem (high B’s for those)
Haven’t taken the SAT/gotten recommendations yet, but expect decent-but-not-stellar for both.
Rank: Should be around 60/800; currently have a 3.85 (unweighted) GPA

TAMS rising senior here - which high school do you go to, and what is your expected SAT score?
Hi I am a rising freshman in Fort Worth and am wondering about my chances of getting into TAMS.

Hello rising TAMS Junior here.
Your courses look amazing as well as your ECs (Are you in NJHS or NHS?). Your SAT scores are around average but, since time has passed since 7th grade I think you should be fine.

The interview is the least of your worries. It a really easy and chill and the only way I think that you wouldn’t pass the interview is that you said you dont like TAMS ( your parents are forcing you… etc.) or something negative. Again… REALLY EASY don’t stress it… The math test that you take on that day is really easy as well.
