What are my chances of getting into University of Michigan Class 2022?

I have always wanted to go to UMich it meets all of my requirements. I am a currently junior in high school. I have an unwaited GPA of 3.99 and a waited GPA of 4.23.

(I currently have A’s in all classes)

Not sure if this matter but most of my A’s are high (around 96/97)

I have a decent amount of extra circulars, I am on the field hockey team and lacrosse team and a club field hockey team. I am a student ambassador at my school. I am in Big Brothers Big Sisters and I volunteered in the summer in another country. I am in National Honors Society and soon will be inducted into National Spanish Society. I am in a few clubs at school but not overly involved in those. I have really good relationships with my teachers, so I think I can get really good, personal recommendations.

I do not have any legacy, I am not a minority and my parents both went to college.

SATs:
Math- 670
Reading-660
I just took the SATs again and I took the ACTs for the first time so hopefully I can move my scores up. My practice scores for the ACTs were around 32.

What are my chances of getting in and what can I do to better my chances?

Thanks

**I actually got a 680 in math not much of a difference but its something

Are you in state? Take the most rigorous classes your school offers and aim for a 34 act

I just took my ACT’s and I got 31 C (34 R, 29 E, 30 M, 30 S). I didn’t study a lot so I am going to study hard and hopefully really move my score

I just got my SAT scores back and I got 700 reading 700 math. Any updates on how these scores will impact my chances

1400 is a bit low for Michigan. The 25/75 range is 1440-1570. Even with a perfect GPA you will need to improve your SAT or ACT to be a more appealing candidate. As a female you have a slight admission advantage. If you are in-state you are definitely in the ballpark, OOS probably not. Either way, try to get your ACT to 33-34 or SAT to 1550-1570. You still have plenty of time for improvement. Make sure to apply EA too.

Michigan does not use Affirmative Action anymore so they legal will not see your gender, ethnicity, and religion till after they make a decision. You can, however, show your diversity through your essays.

Also, the percent of the A (like 96 vs 91) has no effect on your GPA when they recalculate it. A = 4.0, B = 3.0 and so on and so forth. Good luck next year!
