I’m currently an enrolled officer in NHS and I am in several extra-curricular activities. HOSA, Art Club, Tennis (JV and soon to be Varsity), Heavy Metal Club, and Science Team, and I have 50+ hour of community service and the numbers are still going up due to NHS. I have been in all AP and Honors classes that I can and my grades have only dipped to a C once during my whole high school career thus far and the class was AP Human Geography.
I believe that everything is very good for the most part, but I am debating whether or not I should waste my time re-taking the ACT.
I was accepted into the college of LAS with a 24 ACT and a 3.5 GPA. But I had A LOT of EC. Spanish club, Rotary, # sports, and 2 jobs. Plus, I got sick and missed most of my first semester senior year, so in my essay I wrote about my illness and how I worked on everything by myself in the hospital for 3 weeks and finished in time to take finals. It also depends on what major you applied for. getting into the school of engineering is a lot harder than DGS.
