Hello, I have multiple questions on how to go about transferring. I desperately want to transfer into Baruch College.
I am currently a sophomore at a private university (in NY). I can no longer afford to come to this school because tuition is really expensive. I screwed up my first semester and got a low gpa of 1.7. I decided to change my major to business second semester. I received a 3.4. This semester I expect to get at least a 3.4 if not higher. I want to transfer to Baruch for FALL 2015 and know the deadline is Feb 1st.
I planned on staying at my current school for spring 2015 and try to boost my gpa even more.
Without including spring 2015 my gpa should be around a 2.8-2.9
Will Baruch look at my spring 2015 grades as well? or will they make a decision before then?
Also I received a D in the only math class I took which was first semester. I was told you need to have at least a B in a math course to be able to transfer. I am taking Stats spring 2015 and thought they would consider that my math course but I was told that they will not look at my Spring 2015 grades since I am applying for February 1st.
What are my chances of getting into Baruch? who would I need to talk to? would they make an exception?
thanks

Did you get in? I applied for the fall 2016 semester with a 2.9…
