I wanted to know if I had a good chance at getting into San Diego state as I am entering my senior year of high school. Through Sophomore year and junior year my eligibility index is a 3830 in sat and 910 act. My gpa was a 3.25 with 4 AP classes and 2 honors classes (I also took honors alebra 2 freshman year honors pre calc sophomore year and Ap calc ab junior year, which is the highest math my school had) I also live in California and am a Mexican male. I took a lot of AP and Honors classes but got mostly Bs and some Cs in them while getting As and some Bs in my regular classes. Thank you!
The unofficial EI threshold is around 4000-4100 to be a competitive applicant. If local, a 3900 could get you in.
SDSU looks like a Reach. It is worth an application, but you need to find some solid match and safety schools.
Good Luck
