I was wondering what my chances of getting accepted into these colleges are:
Dartmouth
Duke
Amherst
Skidmore
Cornell
UPenn
Swarthmore
Williams
University of Virgina
Since my financial situation is bad, I would need almost full scholarships. I am looking for colleges that give financial aid to international students (Not Yale, MIT, Stanford, and other prestigous colleges that i have no chance of getting into). Thank you very much.

Amherst, Skidmore, Swarthmore, and Williams should be pretty easy for you to get into considering you have a strong SAT score, a strong GPA, and really good ECs. UVA is always an enigma, however. You can never be too sure if you will get in, but based on your stats, you should be able to get in. The toughest for you to get into would probably be UPenn, Duke, Dartmouth, and Cornell…with UPenn and Cornell being harder of the four. Duke and Dartmouth are obviously also highly competitive, but I know people with lower stats than you that got accepted into those schools. The only issue would be financial aid, which I personally do not think you will get much of from UPenn, Cornell, Duke, or Dartmouth. Granted, you will get some financial aid if you’re accepted, but I’m not sure if it will be enough to “balance out” your family income. Good luck!

Thank you very much!

Totally disagree with post # 2. as a Korean intnl needing a lot of aid, these schools will be very difficult to get into. They get lots of Korean applicants and many are full pay. They don’t have to spende their few intnl dollars to attract qualified Koreans.

I would suggest applying to some schools not as popular with Asian intnls and where your stats will put you at the ktop of Their Pools.

Also incorrect about not getting much aid from Dartmouth which is one of the few schools need blind for intnls.

thank you waverly. What are some of the colleges not as popular with asians but would still give me financial aid?
