What are my chances?

Hi,
I am a student from Taiwan. I got my American high school diploma in my exchange program last year. I am pretty blessed to have the chance. Meanwhile, I aim my college goal on City University of Hong Kong. wondering if any American applicant has similar experience to help me out with this. I literally have no other chance for other universities since I have bet my carrier on this.

Here is a list of my portfolio:
1. High school diploma
2. SAT I with 1,700 so far (still trying to improve it)
3. TOEFL with 86
4. I took a psychology AP but it never appeared in my mailbox (should I still include it even if it's bad?)
5. I am 2 terms leader of Broadcast Club
6. Some awards from Taiwan high school (most of them are from in-school competition e.g. Basketball game, painting, and etc)
7. My final transcript (senior year) of American high (with GAP Sem1: 2.18, Sem2: 2.67)

Regarding these information, am I any advantageous on applying for City University of Hong Kong?

Helps are appreciated!

I always thought that CUHK applicants had to obtain good grades in a high school curriculum…

I actually couldn’t agree more, but I pretty much dropped the ball on my high school. Do you have any ideas?

I’m looking at CUHK for journalism. I’m a Chinese adoptee living in the United States applying as an international student.
Here are my stats:
GPA: 3.87-3.9something unweighted (somewhere around there)
SAT: 2040 CR 640 M 630 W 770
EC: Great ECs - president of a human rights club in my school, published in national news website, interned at online livestreaming network over the summer, and more.

What would you say my chances are, and can you tell me anything about CUHK admissions?
