PSATs: 69, 63, 73
General average: B+

forgot to say… we have no class ranking, b/c of our size (total school is 600 kids) and the general intellegent nature of our school (it’s an affluent suburb of boston, public though)

ps- my friend has started (and i will help run) the club for nonviolent solutions (Basically a liberal activist club). the first meeting is coming soon. just another ec i thought i’d mention

raise the SAT (PSAT) scores a tad-more and you should be fine. it goes without saying though, but Brown will look more at your ECs than your actual number grades -- so you too should concentrate more on what makes you different from the other students applying.... a lot of kids applying will have your same scores -- not everyone will be a member of this club or be a founder of this organization.... you'll figure it out soon enough once you get into the whole college process more

You wouldn't go to NNHS by any chance would you?

nope, i'm dover-sherborn (our towns are so small we share a schoo). and is nn newton north?

Yeah it is. Its just kinda weird because Newton North doesn't use a GPA system either and its a public school in an affluent Boston 'burb.
