<p>I am a rising junior with a 3.43 GPA. I am a chemisstry major with a biology minor.
I have over 100 hours of vollunteering at a hospital, shadowed an oncologist for 3 weeks, and a pediatrician for 3 weeks. I have also interned with a orthopedic in a civil hospital in india. I also am a certified EMT and plan on working with the EMT at my college next semester.
I have also done two summers of chemistry research with a global company and started doing materials chemistry research in college last semester.
I am also a tour guide at my college.
I have not taken the MCAT yet
What are my chances of geting into a medical school? My low GPa is freaking me out!</p>
<p>It depends on which Pre-med program you are applying for.
Other stuff you’ve mentioned is really good! So, your GPA might not be a problem…
Secondly, it’s not really hard to get into Pre-Med… The real struggle begins after that</p>
