What are my chances

So my GPA is around a 3.7 unweighted (7 point scale) and my SAT is 2030 with M/CR/W splits being 720/630/680 and am planning on taking it again on October 3. I also took the PSAT and got a 208. I am a rising senior in high school and am an in-state student. So on an academic standpoint what are my chances.

I checked two online websites to check my chance and they both gave extreme answers: Parchment gave me an 89% and Cappex gave me around 48%. I am inclined to go with Parchment because after all the reading I have done about UNC that seems more fitting.

What does a 3.7 on a 7 point scale even mean? Is that much lower than your classmates’ GPAs? Because it sounds pretty low.

It means that an A is 93-100, B is 85-92, C is 77-84, and D is 70-77.

Do you take a lot of regular classes or honors/ap? Is the 3.7 w or uw?

…Sure, that’s similar to many schools. But is a 3.7 / 7.0 (53% of possible grade points???) low at your school?

The 3.7 is unweighted and out of 4. My weighted GPA is around 4.5. My school offers around 11 to 12 possible AP courses of which I have done 4 and am doing another 4 in my senior year. I have also taken around 7 honors classes.
