What are my Chances??

Alrighty, okay, I know I don’t have a great GPA, i experienced a lot during my first year of high school (no excuse). Anyway, I have taken 8 honors classes and 5 AP classes. I am hoping the number of my AP/Honors courses helps my low GPA. I have a 3.16 unweighted GPA and a 3.36 weighted. I received a 24 on the ACT on my first try, I just took the ACT last Saturday, so I will apply after that score is in. I am, also, opting for the summer start. I have participated in several clubs. I am the president of National Art Honors Society at my school, an officer of Crusading Knights (a club in which we do community service) and team member for Interact. In Interact, we help in the community as well. I have done over 50 hours of community service in the past year, I have helped out at the local elderly home, hospital, food kitchen and cleaned up our stadium following our football games. I don’t know if this matters but I am hispanic.

someone help!!

A 3.36 and a 24ACT will likely get you offered a commonwealth campus and not University Park. If you were able to bring your ACT up, then you have a better chance. Apply DUS (Undecided) and put summer start as an option. Those are your best chances of getting into UP campus. Penn State does not look at trends in grades or your senior year grades. All they care about is your overall GPA freshman through junior year. They also only consider extra curriculars minimally - but they will help some. Good luck!
