What are my chances?

Hi guys! Can you make a guess about my chances of getting in some of the schools I listed based on my stats?

Ethnicity: Romanian

SAT1: 2020 ( i will retake it soon, so it is not final)
SAT2: Mat2 800, Phy 800

Major: Astrophysics

-founding member of Interact in my hometown ( PR at the moment)

Other:

  • gold and silver medals ( 9th grade& 10th grade) winner at the National Astronomy Olympiad
  • member of the National team for the International Olympiad
  • awarded full scholarship at my current school ( which is the best in my country)
  • HM winner NASA ISSDC
  • other olympiads county prizes: german, physics, english, computer science
  • I taught a high school student( the same grade as me) astronomy and she qualified for the National Olympiad two years in a row( me being her only teacher)
  • I was awarded full scholarship last year at Stanford Summer Institues and I received a stunning recommendation letter

Everything looks great except your test scores which to be honest are low for every one of those schools except maybe NYU depending on the school you’ll apply to within NYU. If you can bump up your SAT I think you’d have as good a shot as any international student could have (which is still low). Good luck with the SAT and best of luck in the college process!

Your SAT is low and you should have a sport or an instrument in your ecs. Your chances of getting tuftus or nyu are good but if you want harvard or yale you should get at least 2250 on the SAT.

Other than these high reach schools, do you have some matches on your list?

All of these schools are reaches to every student, though if you can bring your SAT up, you have a strong chance with your ECs, being an international, as well as a woman in a STEM field (especially physics). Have you thought about stronger state schools, such as University of Michigan, University of Texas, Penn State and the UCs? Other than the UCs, you have a very good chance to get into highly competitive state schools, so look into them!
