I’m exceedingly nervous about my upcoming application to the USCGA. I was hoping I could maybe get an idea on where I stand with this forum. I’ll still be applying even if my chances don’t look very well because, hey, no harm in trying. I’m just really nervous and I wanted to get an idea of what I will get just so I can prepare.
GPA (out of 4.0)- 3.4
GPA (weighted)- 5.4
Extra curriculars:
Member of NHS, NTHS, NSHS, Beta Club, Anti-bullying club, Ambassadors Club, and I am president of NEHS.
I played volleyball for three years, one year of which I was varsity.
I work on a ship, and I have 162 community service hours
New Sat score- 1340 (630 math, 710 reading and writing)

I’m assuming you meant you have a 4.4 weighted GPA unless yours works differently, but otherwise your statistics do not look too bad. I know they look for advanced mathematics/ science students since it is primarily an engineering school, but you seem to have a good mix of service, extracurriculars, sports, and grades. Good luck!
