Chinese Male, 3/7/90, IL (competitive state)</p>

<p>SAT I: New SAT, probably 2250+ (PSAT 222, but I definitely shouldn't have got a 76 in math =P)
SAT II: 800 MathIIC, 760 Bio (Took as Freshman, may retake), 680 World Hist, 800 Chem (Let's pretend =D I'll take it this year)</p>

<p>APs: 5 Calc AB, 5 Calc BC, 5 Environ. Sci, 5 Bio, 5 Chem, 5 Phys C, 5 CompSci AB, 5 Stats</p>

<p>GPA: Competitive school (IL Math and Sci Academy), 3.7-3.8, No Class Rank</p>

<p>ECs:
Freshman- Sophomore year:
Medical Imaging Research, with patent.
Junior Year:
Different Medical Imaging Research, hopefully a few papers out soon.
Math Team, 7th individually in state among Juniors, 1st Team Freshman, Sophomore years. Regional Outstanding on HiMCM. Qualified for AIME sop and junior years (no USAMO) Tons of regional or lower awards.
Chess Team, 8th Board, 5th in a Statewide individual competition (fluke of course, i had an early draw and played like 1100 opponents through the thing), 3rd at State team soph and junior years, tons of regional or lower awards.
Science Olympiad, Event Leader (school position) for 3 events, State Gold in Forestry, State Team 3rd. Tons of regional or lower awards.
Participation in Scholastic Bowl as a Freshman, a lot of regional awards.
Teenage Republicans, Jr. Representative.
Volunteered at a Teen Center and Library, 100 Hrs total.
Started a fundraising campaign for the American Heart Association at my school, projected money: $20,000
2 Day Suspension: Minor residential violation, removed from transcript</p>

<p>I want to apply to:
Northwestern (HPME), HYP, UIC (GPPA), WashU, some safety schools.</p>

<p>I think I have an okay academic record, some unique ECs, pretty bad demographics. What do you think my chances are for these universities? I want to be PreMed, maybe majoring in BME or something, any suggestions for schools (I haven't really looked into it deeply).</p>

<p>I'm also a Pokemon Master, meaning I have National and International titles in the card game. I have about 8k in scholarships from this. Think I should mention it?</p>

<p>What years you take these APs? This seems to be pretty impressive.</p>
