-My interview could have been better (I felt like I did not show how interested I really was in Barnard)

-My recommendations should be great, especially my counselor recommendation

-My supplements were very strong. As supplementary materials, I submitted a PDF of my photographic portfolio with an artist’s statement.

-My college essay was really awesome. I talked about my job in a hippie store in my town, the different groups of people that I meet there and their role in the small town community. It was also about me as an observer, and what dealing with different types of people has taught me about interpersonal relationships.

-For work experience, I have had my current retail job 3 days a week since June, I worked at the Rockland Parent/Child Center, I was an assistant camp counselor, and I babysit

-I have been a Spanish and Latin Peer Tutor, I volunteered at the library summer reading program, and at the Martin Luther King Center Festival of Peace. I also acted in a Shakespeare play to benefit charity, and was part of the Kennedy Center Imagination Celebration.

-I have been a member of the Childrens Shakespeare Theater Company since I was 12 and put on 2 full-length Shakespeare plays a year. I am also in a theater club at school and do tech for school plays. I was also part of a school literary magazine and the yearbook photography/layout staff

I took a Crafting of the Essay course through Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth Program

For photography, I took Photo I in 10th grade, created an Independent Study photography class for myself at school, and have taken four classes at the International Center of Photography School in NYC.

I won High Honor Roll in 9th Grade and have been on honor roll every other year. I was nominated for the National Honor Society, and received the Michael B. Fauci Scholarship award from my school last year.

So, what are my odds?
