What are some colleges that weigh SAT's more than GPA?

Any test heavy schools? My GPA does not show my full potential

GPA shows potential in school much more than test scores. Recent studies have proven this. Thus, not many schools weight test scores more heavily than GPA.

Much more? It’s not a perfect correlation. The evidence actually shows that GPA & test scores COMBINED are a better predictor.

FYI, UT Austin is struggling with high GPA kids admitted from disadvantaged schools, by its percentage admissions plan. These kids were admitted SOLELY on the basis of their competitive GPA within their HS.

Merit money schools that are trying to climb the college ranking tend to value test scores over GPA.

@jackoneill What is your GPA? If it’s 3.3 and you have a lot of Honors and AP, that is one thing. If it’s 2.7 or 2.5, that’s a red flag, even with SAT of 1400.
