What are some good chemistry programs in the Northeast Only?

Northeastern!! Haha jk. According to USNWR Northeastern’s chemistry program is 92nd.

^ USNWR does not rank undergraduate chemistry programs.

Becauseprganice chemistry will he terribly hard from a C in general chemistry and calculus will be hard too, I would not take biology yet as all three together are sure to tank your GPA and thus any chance you’d have at the majors you’re interested in.
Ideally, organic chemistry should be taken with zero other hard class, only medium or easy classes, but that’s not a choice you have. Therefore, try to make that semester survivable by taking only calculus and organic chemistry, plus two other classes out consider easy - by the way, even if you completed your general education classes, a class in psychology or art appreciation is always welcome.

I agree that balancing difficult classes with some that are less work intensive is a good idea. It’s one of the strategies I’m suggesting to our dyslexic daughter.

It doesn’t matter if you have all your gen eds finished. My son is a sophomore and he’s nearly finished with his. He’s looking forward to adding classes to his schedule that are purely for fun.

I’ve decided not to take biology this semester. Now my schedule is

Organic chemistry 1
Calculus 1
Effective speech
Gym

Summer 2017:
General biology 1 (not sure but I’m positive I will end up taking it)
Second term of summer 2017:
Not sure yet. But I definitely want to take a class.
