So, I’m a special type of person. Instead of being good at math/science or english/history, I’m the best at math and history. My worst subjects are English and science. I’m a junior in high school and I’m already looking into what I want to major in. I’m still debating if I want to go into math or history because I love and enjoy both of them. Is there a major that uses both? Need advice!
You’d be surprised how common this actually is. The sciences and mathematics and the social sciences and humanities are not orthogonal - they’re not unrelated. They intersect, and there are plenty of people who are good at writing, communicating, and analyzing in the humanities (like history) but also are really good at math.
You might be interested in economics, which is a field that uses some skills/theories like history but also a lot of math.
