What are some strong activities for a year off between College and Med School?

Yes, I do know how to read. The question is: what on earth does that mean? How does one even major in "science"? And what's the difference between that and a math major?

Sorry I wasn't being smart, I honestly don't know either--like I said, it doesn't even sound like a major to me. I could finish it in time though.

I will find out what it is from my adviser this week. From the description, it seems to be just a very general major with a few options for emphasis, but I'm sure if someone wanted to go to grad school for mathematics, it'd be better to get a BS in mathematics.

Upon further reading, the description sounds an awful lot like the premed description: it's for people that have no idea what they want to major in, but they know they want to go to graduate school.
