I'll start. I've found some amazing recommendations at "A Nerd's Guide to Reading" (A Nerd?s Guide to Reading), that really helped me seem more awesomely intellectual when I got to college. What about you guys?

Reading is for losers

^^You’re one if you think that way!

@Eric- That was a great blog! I don’t have time to list out books now (God knows I’d never end once I get started) but I WILL do that asap
But, I gotta recommend The Elegant Universe, A Beautiful Mind, Atlas Shrugged before anything else!
What’s your favorite book btw?

on the road, by jack kerouac

How to Read Literature Like A Professor
Any of Cal Newport’s college strategy books
The Things They Carried
Heart of Darkness
East of Eden
The Art of War
The Great Gatsby
Basically anything that makes you think and analyze!

Really, anything is fair game. Read about what interests you. Its also a good idea to check out time management and books for succeeding in college. I wish I would have found Cal Newport’s books before I went to college. He has some really great strategies for doing well in college.

Infinite Jest
