I know I'm on CC...but sometimes I don't feel there are enough things here or information...but it does help me out a lot...I just want to know if there's more..Like sites I haven't heard of before.

PLEASE HELP ME!

Like is there a virtual tours thing...

Somewhere where Admission officers cann help you out...

CollegeWeekLive has virtual college fairs on various days. You can talk to admissions officers, get information about financial aid, etc for certain schools. If you want a virtual tour, you should just go on the website of the college itself. CollegeBoard is pretty much the typical college website.

CollegeBoard College finder is one of the best tools for finding info on specific colleges. When you want to learn more about a college, just go to their site, and look under undergraduate admissions. They will usually have a bunch of tips/info about the admission process at their institution.

Youtube is also a great resource for finding college tours, and people talking about certain colleges.

The Princeton Review’s site is a good supplemental source. It polls students about various topics, from academics to social life to the school’s administration. I think it is better as a student opinion source than student review sites since it polls everyone, not just the extremely discontented or extremely satisfied, and doesn’t have fake/■■■■■ posts from rival college students, students that didn’t get in, etc.
A downside is that there are many colleges it doesn’t cover, and you need a (free) account to view the information.

Yea I’m on most of the sites you guys mentioned…I just wondered if there are more. I like Princeton Review…its a pretty good site…and is up to date. I haven’t found a college that it doesn’t have so it does do that bad…

Also…I don’t know about collegeboard…it seems out of date to me…like not updated on a regular basis.

Does anyone know how I can find statistical data…like about admissions to most sites.like the most common ones…but like…how many females they admit…or how many blacks, latinos, the diversity…from this income to that income…you know what i mean?

Oh and is there a site…that like helps you…organize what your going to apply to?

CollegeBoard helps you create a list of the colleges you’ll apply to, and even gives you a calender for the deadlines. Or are you looking for something more?

Oh, and College Results Online provides information about graduation rates and other stuff, and you can compare the stats between colleges as well. It’s pretty out-dated though, unfortunately. I think it’s most recent stats are from 2008.

Collegeboard has everything you’re looking for and its definetely updated cause I’ve actually seen it change before my eyes. The sat portion for one of my schools was changed. It let’s you create a list of whew you’re applying it has everything! College p r o w l e r is also good and so is naviance family connection if your school has it. School guidance counselor is also a good source :P

If you go on the schools website and type “common data set” in their search bar you’ll get all of the info you need (%of minorities, women, people in every major, etc)
