<p>I would also really like to know about colleges with good programs in those areas. As well as: social justice/work, public policy analysis, and any related thigs that you guys might know about. Thanks!!</p>
<p>UVa is good in social sciences, government, etc., from what I hear.</p>
<p>There are two primary elements in law school admissions 1) GPA and 2) Grades. That said, the better undergraduate school you go to, the more luck you will have in going to a top law school. At the best law schools (and business/ med schools) you see an inordinate number of Ivy and top school grads. From Williams/ Amherst to Harvard to Michigan, if you have a top GPA/ LSAT you have a ticket to a great law school. How "good" the poli sci department at your particular school is very minor compared to the overall institutional quality.</p>
<p>There is no such thing as a good college for "pre-law" in the top schools. There is a wall street journal of top grad school placement, the liberal arts schools (AWS) and the Ivies are at the top.</p>
