Just wanted to know what one could do with a major in Operations Research/Financial Engineering/Management Science. I see that quite a few unis merge two or more of the above to make one major. How useful is this and what type of jobs would a major like this get for you?
With enough physics and CS it ought to be broadly employable. Without it, you’ll probably benefit from superb communication skills and an outgoing personality. But I don’t know anyone in the field so am probably not the best one to ask.
