What are Top Programs for Neuroscience?

Hi, please post the rankings for top neuroscience programs. I want just strictly neuroscience, or neurobiology. I DONT WANT THAT LINGUISTICS (USELESS). Thanks!

bump...........

Harvard, Hopkins, MIT, and UCSD to name a few.

2006 - Chronicle Facts & Figures: Faculty Scholarly Productivity Index

Yale U. (I don't know if they offer an actual undergrad neurosci major, ask rd31)

Vanderbilt

Johns Hopkins U.

Mayo foundation - Mayo Grad School

UC SF

Duke

Brandeis

UC Berkeley

UPittsburgh

UPenn

Though this is a graduate ranking.

Yale doesn't offer an undergraduate neuroscience major though it does offer MCDB (Molecular Cellular Development Biology with subconcentration in neuroscience) or a Psychology major with an emphasis on neurosci track.

Vandy, Johns Hopkins, Duke (Certificate Program), UPenn are the only schools in that list that offer undergraduate programs in neuroscience.

I'd recommend looking at UC San Diego, Harvard (neurobio) and Stanford as well.

ok for other ppl: I want Undergrad; and i want specific rankings; i want at least #1 - #6.....thx for all of ur help

There aren't any undergrad specific rankings in most fields...anything you get will either be graduate or opinion

Apparently a neurosurgeon on this board highly recommended Brown (?) and JHU for neuroscience. I still have to find his post.

I'd say URochester, Vandy, JHU, Harvard, Stanford, MIT, UCSD, Princeton, UPenn, Brown are great selections for neuroscience.

EDIT: There isn't really a undergraduate ranking of course for neuroscience, if anything, with Dr. Ben Carson, world famous pediatric neurosurgeon at The Hospital, I would say JHU is the best for neuroscience (third most popular major here :) )
